About Victoria Knight
"I watched as client after client returned, transformed."
When I started to get real results I thought I was seeing things. But pictures don’t lie.
Using a few simple tools and products, scars can be transformed, and areolas recreated.
If you can perform freehand permanent make-up you can learn to create the appearance of 3D areolas.
Every artist in the history of the world had to learn to draw, so you can, too.
I teach Paramedical Services so your clients no longer have to live with the emotional and physical pain of their pasts, and you can be part of their transformations.
"My doctor thought my areolas were real."
“He thought I had a nipple sparing procedure.”
If you’ve been in the permanent cosmetics world you have probably seen some pretty bad work. It really is tragic that there are no educational requirements.
No educational requirements means that anyone can do this work, so, sadly, ‘anyone’ does. And it shows.
While I can’t fix the laws or the educational requirements, I can create a comprehensive program so that you can get the best possible results for your clients.
Learning these skills will not only add income or even make a living providing paramedical services, but it will also be some of the most satisfying work you can do with your life.
My backstory: when the lightbulb went on for me
Tragedy is always the starting point, isn’t it . . .
The first scars I saw were those of a 29 year old mastectomy patient named Rachel.
She was my mother. I was 8.
It’s hard to even imagine what that little girl was going through.
It made an indelible impact on my life.
Fast forward a few decades to 2001. There I am, just minding my little beauty business, when I learn about Permanent Make-Up and Areola Repigmentation.
A woman walked into Nordstrom, where I was a cosmetics manager, wanting a make-over ~ and her brow and lip color would not come off! “What kind of Sorcery Is This???” I asked her.
It was Permanent Make-Up. She’d had it done when she went through her breast cancer treatments.
She also had areola repigmentation.
I was stunned. My brain actually shimmered with the potential.
That was the day I found my calling. I began pursuing all forms of Permanent Cosmetics ~ Permanent Make-Up, ~ immediately and ardently.
In 2004, when I felt more confident I studied areola repigmentation. It was hard, there were few classes, and the areolas I saw looked almost cartoonish. I set out to get better – to do better.
So I took drawing classes.
I got better with areolas, but I was still dissatisfied – and so were my clients – with the appearance of scars.
Then, in 2007 Dr. Linda Dixon introduced a method she was using for camouflaging scars. I actually called her – and she called me back (!) and we discussed scars at length. This was So Exciting to me!!!
I started working on improving scars with Permanent Cosmetics. It was hit or miss, but it usually made things a little better.
In 2009 I became a medical and oncology massage practitioner for Florida Hospital, learning about adhesion release and dermo neuro modulation in scar tissue.
Then, another tragedy: In 2010 I had a skull fracture and whiplash
In 2010 I had a skull fracture and whiplash and learned about how microcurrent could help with pain – and also help the pain from scars. I couldn’t use my left arm for 3 years, my right arm for 2. I had a lot of time to study.
I had a fairly substantial indented scar on my forehead. It was not pretty
In 2012 (?) I learned about Microneedling and the scarless wound healing model from Dr. Lance Setterfield who was introduced to the permanent make-up field through Dr. Linda Dixon. I took alllll the classes and read alllll the books, (Geek! haha!) and started to get better still.
In 2014 I learned about stem cell growth factors and cytokines and how they helped to heal the skin.
Combining the right treatments at the right time, customized for each client, I started to get real results ~ sometimes dramatically better!
In 2014 I began working with several medical practices providing permanent cosmetic procedures and paramedical areola repigmentation. I also showed them the results I was getting on the scars of the breast cancer survivors.
Then medical offices started referring all kinds of scar patients to me, asked me to work on all types of scars and more of the same; clients got amazing results.
So good that even the physicians would become clients!
Seriously, this stuff works, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see the amazing transformations.
Now it's your turn
Now, it’s time to share my knowledge, these systems, with you so you can get these results for your clients, creating beautiful areolas for them, releasing them from the emotional and physical pain of their scars, and adding a new revenue stream to your menu.
some fun facts about me!
The first fun fact is that I am only about 50% fun. The rest of me is a driven, intense introvert with a hypersensitive personality and attention deficit disorder. I am also a devout feminist – womanist, even – and I am
Not Satisfied with the way the medical industry treats women who go through cancer.
Imagine if it were men and their man bits . . . whole different story then.
I’m doing my part to make things better for us.
